Someone sez some people hate what they are very good at doing and love doing what they're lousy at doing. So?

It seems to me that if you are VERY GOOD at doing something you're apt to like doing it. If you aren't you don't. Is that true for you? There is nothing I personally am good at doing that I even dislike doing let alone hate. But then people are wired differently. What about chu? What do you do very well that you hate? And what do you love doing that you do very badly?

life is always better when you're learning all new things Rosie....often when you competent ,things often become a chore....
I hate doing repetitive menial things that doesn't  stretch my mind.....   I'm fasinated by so many things mechanical ,nature and the world we live in....
Thare are so many islands around the Philippines that if you visited one a day ,it would take you 45 years to see them all...

Who is the one who counted those islands and figured that it would take 45 years to see them all? I find that very peculiar D. I guess they do so by using a telescope from a plane and someone uses a mechanical counter? That seems  like a very weird way to spend time...counting things! I don't mind doing repetitive things at all D. I like learning about new things. There is a great deal of comfort for me in doing. What I dislike I don't do. Now of course when you are retired you become freer to pick and choose. You do not have to suffer fools. You do not have to bite your tongue. I recommend it to everyone! I love doing laundry. It is menial and repetitive but I always have a great sense of accomplishment when the laundry basket is empty. I don't know how many thousands of times I've done laundry but each time I enjoy doing it. Thank you for your reply D. Of course I'm gonna ask a question about it.

It was on one of Sir David Attenborough programes Rosie...there are 17,000 islands plus and you can only visit one a day....
17,000 devided by 365 days equals 46.5 years so it would take even longer actually...
Countries know what lands they own.....English land registry know exactly how big who owns what.

So many space satellites  scan the earth each and every day...they can zoom in on your back garden and you never know who's spying on you now.....:(

How long ago did he count them D? Via satellite? I know you are very very fond of Sir David. I remember I confused him with Richard, the actor. It is Richard isn't it? Or am I still getting it wrong? Thank you for your helpful reply sweetie! :)
