    Per Wikipedia:

    "A regular male dancer in Italy is called a danzatore, while ballerino usually denotes a principal male ballet dancer in Italy. In the English speaking world, boys or men who dance classical ballet are usually referred to as (male) ballet dancers. ... The male version of this term is danseur noble (French)."     "What do you for a living"   "I'm  a DANSEUR NOBLE!" Imagine seeing that on a resume or business card? it sounds so elegant and, well, NOBLE! I think then of NOBLESSE OBLIGE and NOBEL peace prize! Thank you for your very helpful reply L. I kinda like DANZATORE too. It reminds me of an Italian deli and a bullfight! Everything reminds of something else. I guess the female could properly be referred to as a  DANSEUSE NOBLE? Masseur...masseuse? Happy Wednesday! :)
