  • I don't know what the MSM is either. What I do know, is that it appears to be more wishful thinking on the part of those who happen to be enemies of Trump supporters. This is getting to be a common thread among the "I said it, I demand that you believe it" crowd. Truth is optional because it's irrelevant.

    Probably My Sainted Mother since the media reports things claimed to be true by individuals---Kind of like when it reports what Trump says---even though Trump's a known liar.

    The "Main Stream Media" is what I assume you mean.
    I think it was because it fit the narrative they wish to express. They seem to have taken to the idea that America is a racist country, that we hate each other.
    While there are  anecdotal stories that will fit the definition of being racist in nature, I don't believe it is as commonplace as they would have you believe.It was a big "See, I told you so", without the "so".
    It was also another thing they could blame on Trump..."See, he is a racist, this is because of the tone he has set..."

    It was a sensational “crime” involving a minor celeb. In these minute-to-minute newscycles, that’s all it takes.

    Simple. It had a victim who was a double minority (black and gay) and they could pin it on President Trump.

    Same reason the ran with the story about the Catholic kid in the MAGA hat.
