Ever see a second-rate lounge act where all the customers are drunk as skunks. The "talent" is awful but they're so drunk they clap. True?
One could extrapolate that and apply it to well say a politician who thinks he is swell because everyone who attend his rallies cheers and claps and jumps up and down. They are all on something don. Something bad. SIGH.
That description in your question, Rosie, was so deliciously perfect, I want you to know how it affected me.
That was perfection. Every time I watch those crowds in his sway, I am nauseated at such a level that I see the Nazis waiving flags in Germany with that same MIKE PENCE stare of zealotry, stirring up the crowds in a wave of emotion that had no basis in reality.
That is what is the terror. THIS BASE of no minded zombies bent on destruction. Or as you put it, a crowd of drunks watching a 2nd rate floor show.
