Expanding Elon's question about voting for her for president, maybe we can have a vote for AM president.

If you are interested we'll start with party names, then choose nominees, then have a vote for each party.

I'll start. AM Westies, AM Easties. Mississippi River is the dividing line. For others not from USA, you are the Worldies or you can choose one of the others.

A good measles epidemic might do the trick as well.

(There was a measles outbreak in the Fort Worth, TX a few years ago.  It took quite a while for the doctors to figure out what it was because measles had been essentially eradicated years ago, and no younger doctors were familiar with the disease.)

When I was a kid, it seemed we all got measles and chicken pox. I never heard of anyone dying from it. I guess our immune systems were stronger because our parents weren't germophobes. Odd, though that two of my sisters became germophobes. One is 69 and the other 66.

  • Yep .. we just expected to get those things .. sometimes parents even exposed us to them to get it over with.

I had measles as a kid. it was a serious disease as I recall---had to stay in a "dark" room.  Had chickenpox as a young adult---minimum itching, fortunately.

Turned 73 last year and haven't been sick in about 2 years.

Somehow (no surprise) I let the whole concept unnerve me.
But I'll gladly help clean up afterwards, at the various party meetings, primaries and voting polls.
    :)
