All gubments spy on one another. Even allies/"friends". That's the nature of our reality today. Would you spy on your friends? Why?

I suppose they spy just in case the "friendship" turns sour. Then they have ammunition to use? Sad ain't it?

    That's all very true Rosie.....America had plans to go to war with England and Canada in the 1930's ....they wanted our/their global trading base :( 
    Friends mean very little where money is involved....:( 

    We complain about Russia and how they became the USSR ,taking ever country by force.....
    England ,France ,Spain,Portugal,Italy ,Greece ,Persia  and many many more have the same blood on their hands......

    Which means the nature of human is that they cannot be trusted. Bottom line they will destroy anyone who gets in the way of their ambition. By any means possible. It's just that some work in the mud and scum and sewers while others work behind closed doors in fancy palaces. Such is the nature of man.
