In the divided Camps of the US, especially those with control of the media, it will be the same Hue & Cry. Then when proved wrong or dubious it will be found in Section C, below the fold .......
Now the game changer may be the suit for 250 million against the Washington Post, and upcoming Suits against CNN etc. The PR machine is working overtime to kill these suits - I do believe they are going to court. If they do it will happen during the election cycle resulting in more idiots in office along with the current crop of Flakes
These incidents will continue to be reported as long as they involve someone famous or someone attractive, although there may be a little more emphasis on the word 'alleged'. The vast majority of these crimes are not considered newsworthy and victims might met with more skepticism than previously.
