    Ask Putin.  You know.  The guy who actually knows what continent Venezuela is located on.  Or what a continent even is, for that matter.

    You know I have a lot of him and most of the pictures look exactly the same.  It is like dressing up a shark.  
     
    It's expressions hardly move.

    This is the most animated I have seen him.

    Russia and China (and Cuba) support the "former" Venezuelan President.

    America, Europe, and most of South America support the "new" Venezuelan President ... who allegedly won the votes of the people of Venezuela.

    I'm guessing it has to do with not wanting a democracy to fall to a dictatorship.

    Not to be rude Walt but SO WHAT? An isolationist nationalist populist prez focuses on his country FIRST LAST AND ALWAYS! Also what is this charade about Democracy being important to little dnny dingbat? Not at home for sure. He doesn't have a democracy-aware cell in his AUtHORITARIAN DESPOT DICTATOR body. He ridicules the Constitution. He usurps the powers given to the other branches of government. He is not believable. In my opinion. SIGH. Thank you for your reply.

    Well ... the best way to deny refugee status to someone from Venezuela, will be to make sure the government is a democracy that isn't focused on oppressing the people.
