They like borders and fences and walls. They do not like open spaces where they can go in any direction on their own unfettered by authority controlling them. They want daddy dearest right there giving them orders. They sleep so much better at night knowing that daddy dearest is taking care of them, protecting then, deciding for them. So for them don is the perfect daddy. They never question his authority or decision making or the punishment he metes out to all the bad boys and girls. They figger he is smarter and knows best so whatever he says/does is RIGHT.
