"Some of my best friends are black. Some of my best friends are women. Some of my best friends are gay". What does all that say?

The person saying that has been accused of being a racist or homophobic or a misogynist.  I wonder why? Pathetic excuse that no one ever buys. You said what you said. PERIOD. Perhaps being more cautious careful in how they speak and what they say and the words they choose to use would be better. That way they won't be perceived as what their words convey. Do they ever listen to themselves speak?

AGREED! Thank you for your reply Zack and Happy Thursday. It seems the more things change the more they stay the same. The stupid dumbs are always gonna remain stupid dumbs. More's the pity!  :(

It says that he numbers among his friends women, black people, and gay people.  Why?  I would guess because people are just the way they are and if you exclude them you risk excluding yourself from anything good they may have to offer.
