The more you settle for less, the less you become. You shrink in direct proportion to your "settling". Why did you settle for don?

You are all disappearing like wraiths in a horror novel. You couldda been someone. You couldda been contenders instead of bums which is what you are. (Apologies to On the Waterfront and Marlon Brando). You rolled over and embraced that which is destroying you piece by piece bit by bit lie by lie? WHY?

I would have settled for Mitt Romney rather than this.   And I cannot stand Mitt.  He is one notch below Pence.

I think it is really impossible to know what a person will become  as prez. Some of them rose up to the challenge and acquitted themselves better than expected. Harry Truman comes to mind. I also liked Ike. I think he was very prescient and exceedingly wise. I am trying really hard to settle on a Republican I would have preferred. You really can't judge a book by its cover.  I think it's a crapshoot and if you come up winners vis a vis your prez that's very rare. I do believe that little don is the very worst of the very worst and thus anyone would be better. Anyone. I could be wrong but I doubt it. SIGH.Thank you for your reply Sharon and the graphic. If I CAN come up with a name I'll get back to ya! :( This post was edited by RosieG at March 5, 2019 2:27 AM MST
