I never met them ... but when I was in college, I was told that there was someone who looked "exactly" like me.
It caused a few confusing moments, when people struck up a conversation with me - that was a continuation of a conversation they had with my doppleganger.

I should have made clear what I meant Walt. Not appearance-wise but everythingelse-wise. Outlook, views, beliefs, opinions, likes, dislikes. That's what I was getting at. Everyone has a doppelganger somewhere allegedly. Thank you for your reply!  :)

I have never found anyone even close to me.   Although I was told I had an exact double once (I never saw him).

To be honest, I probably couldn't stand someone exactly like me.  My personality type is one that would vehemently clash with a matching one.    I'm not saying I'm a bad person, or an egotist, or a violent person, or anything like that.  It's just that many of my idiosyncrasies can be somewhat "difficult" to handle - and franky I couldn't handle them coming from someone else (one on one).  However, I have many qualities that if I met someone with them we would definitely "hit it off".  Just not someone 100% like me.

I didn't mean appearance-wise Shuhak. My fault. I was not clear. I meant everythingelse-wise. If you have very strong opinions, some odd or unique, and find someone else out there who says "that's EXACTLY what I think" it kinda sends chills up your spine. You think you're very weird for thinking/feeling something no one else seems to and then out of the blue you find someone just like you! As for idiosyncracies. I am VERY IMPATIENT. So I appreciate those who are very patient with me. I keep trying to get better at it but so far I am a failure! I say what I think when I think it. It doesn't matter to me if people ignore it. It matters to me that I was able to say it. Now many if not most people will shade what they say to be more "likable" or accepted. They fear stark truth. So they avoid ever engaging in it. Not me. I say what I think at the time that I think it. Of course later I may change what I think but at that moment whatever I say is my truth. Thank you for your reply and Happy Saturday to thy!  :)
