Just have psychiatrists pschoanalysts and psychologists all agree that he is nuttier than a fruitcake. Declare him insane and then let him live out the rest of his days in an insane asylum for the rich and privileged. Crazy people are not responsible for being crazy. Crazy makes you do/say real crazy things. An insane person can murder someone and live out his life. Well he won't have to pretend being crazy or LIE. His words/deeds have already proven he is insane.
How long before his lawyers know that is their only path to saving him from life in prison? Life in an upscale mental institution won't be half bad. He can have hot-and-cold running playmates to pleasure himself with. No tweeting or talking or writing though. He would simply disappear forever into the bowels of a mental hospital never to be heard from again. A way out.
