A very big deal for me to give up when giving up meat entirely, was Chef Boy R "Dee's (spelling?) ravioli.  In a can.  Of course.  I loved those things.  I did not eat them every day, but like a mustard and baloney sandwich, it was comfort food for me.  I had to have that once in a while.

Imagine my joy when I found in a Target, I think, Chef Boy R Dee's Cheese Ravioli   Wow.  I ate those and never looked back.

I can still be a degenerate and keep my vegetarian title.

I can recall at one point eating soup from a can which contained white pasta. Progresso or something like that.  Back in the 80s or so.

  • Yeah, I wasn’t thinking about soup but that counts too.
