Some folks are just plain LAZY. They always do what's "easier". So which is? Doing the right or the wrong thing? Why?

The wrong thing is always easier to do.
Why?  Simply because you don't have to care about anything other than doing what you want.
Sure, you may do the right thing when you do that ... but you may break laws to do it.  Which would be doing something "wrong".

    It's like Batman.
He does the "right" thing by fighting crime ... but he breaks as many laws as the criminals he opposes.
Not to mention all the property damage he causes innocent people and taxpayers to pay for.
If he had to reimburse all that property damage, Bruce Wayne would quickly cease being a multi-millionaire.

Maybe that's true for most people Walt. Normal people. It isn't true for me. Why? Well because my conscience beats the crap outta me. It hounds and badgers me and is relentless. "When will I be found out"? Try living with THAT 24/7? It just ain't worth it. It's orders of magnitude easier for me to do the right thing. I figgered that out many decades ago. As a result I don't have to look over my shoulder to see what is gaining on me. Nothing ever is! I take my hits up front and get it over with. Tell my truth. Take the hits. Move on. That's what's easy for me. Thank you for your reply Walt!  So now Bruce Wayne is a bad guy? Sheesh you sure know how to rain on a parade! :(

Bruce Wayne / Batman is just the latest "anti-hero" ... a term used as early as 1714.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antihero

The only difference between a villain and an anti-hero is the villain has an "evil" agenda.

I ALWAYS do what I think is the right thing to do L. Not because I'm a saint but because I ain't! I can't take worrying about what happens when someone finds out I LIED or CHEATED or STOLE or BETRAYed. Not worth it. Now am I always right about what's right? No. But do I always do what I think is? You betcha! Thank you for your reply!  :)

Sometimes the WRONG thing is the hardest thing you can do but you are stubborn, in LOVE and will have this love object at any price.

That was the wrong thing I did for 20 years.  LOL  It was hard.  Trust me.  I am a slow learner.

Well I stuck it out with wrong for a coupla years. Compulsive gambler. Not my son's dad. Then I left . But you learned and moved on. Some never do and they are stuck in a life of their own making and wonder why they are so very miserable. Sad that. Thank you for your reply Sharon! :)
