Don don brags about doubling down on vengeance. Why doth he MOCKETH THE LORD?

"Do not take revenge my dear friends
Vengeance is mine. I will repay"

So why do Don don whose "favorite book is the Bible" vengeance upon all in double tude in perpetitude? Doth he doubt GOD?  Did he not read his favorite book? How can a book you've never read be your favorite book?
