Sometimes the majority is WRONG. It takes a very ethical person to ignore the majority. The subject is The Death Penalty. Are you pro/con?

Despite "the will of the people" and Californians voting PRO death penalty (I did not) our Governor is suspending it. His reasons were very articulate.

There are over 700 people on death row. We KNOW some of them are innocent. How? Percentage wise that's how. Innocent people have been exonerated by new evidence being discovered. The death penalty is skewed against people of color. Everyone KNOWS THAT! So in good conscience he has decided to go against the voice of the people and do what he thinks is right. i ADMIRE that. I know. I agree with him so of course I admire him. What do YOU think?

    I dont believe in death penatly. I think its an horrible act... Even tho some people might have killed, its still a tough sentence.

    The tragedy is those who were INNOCENT and executed. Also those who were INNOCENT and spent decades in prison for crimes they did not commit. You cannot ever make up for that. Lost years. Lost life. I don't care how many millions you give them. It isn't enough. So we agree then. Thank you for your reply franc and Happy Saturday to thee!  :)
