Do NATURAL BLONDS lord it over BOTTLE BLONDS? Is there a pecking order among them? Can you tell just by looking?

If the roots are dark brown then of course you know you are looking at a bottle blond. Do you think less of a person for that?

I just think they should get their roots done.

I think so too although I wonder if it is "in style" to do that? Sometimes I see lots of them. When dark roots show everyone knows you bleach your hair. They are not fooled. Thank you for your reply m2c.

No, I don't think it is in style. They either cannot afford to redo it or have been too busy.

Oh? Huh. I wonder if it costs a lot to keep up? I wonder how often they have to get it "touched up"? I dyed my hair ONCE when I was 28. From dark brown to BLACK. Oh my gosh I regretted it. I had it dyed back to dark brown and in 6 weeks I was a redhead due to the sun I guess! I had to have it dyed again! I have never ever considered doing anything like that again! I learned my lesson bigtime! Thank you for your reply m2c.

I used to dye mine black in high school. My hair is also dark brown. Now Input a dark reddish brown on it to cover the gray.

Cost wise if you pay someone to do it can be expensive. I have always done it myself. So Under $10 every few months.
The red is actually from the black die strangely enough. This post was edited by my2cents at March 18, 2019 6:00 AM MDT

That sounds kinda pretty m2c. Wouldn't bottle blonds have to either do it themselves or go to the hairdresser a lot more often than you? I don't know how fast hair grows do you? Oh wait! I'll ask Jim. He is a retired hairstylist. Just a minit.  OK. Jim sez the AVERAGE hair grows 1/2 inch per month. So that would definitely show. Thank you for your reply. Now of course my hair is salt&pepper with strands of dark brown. i did not look good at all with black hair. I looked even worse as a redhead! :)
