Microscopic or Macroscopic? Local or Global? Tree or Forest? Where do YOU focus and why?

I see the lake and I used to gather mud from it so the kids could see the micro critters. I am interested in global events, but also in local as they may directly affect me. I see the forest as I approach it, but look at the trees as I wander through it.

OK. I get it. I was overthinking it. Thanks for taking the time to DIAGRAM it for me It is helpful! The newest most exciting local event is that California is officially out of the drought! For 7 years we have been in drought mode but after the recent spate of endless rains (more to come this week) we are out of it. Last I heard we were at 93% of normal...normal being what we were before drought took over. So that's a very good local thing. :)

Did Lake Mead fill up?

I dunno E. That's in Nevada near Las Vegas. I don't know how much rain Nevada got or if they were ever in drought condition and if so if they are out.
