Due Process. So the cop kills the unarmed young black man. Once dead how is "due process" remotely possible for the dead kid?

In almost every instance the cop walks. Is due process limited to the living? Is it possible to provide due process to the dead? Posthumously? It is so very rare. And for those who are killed but are incarcerated. Those who are railroaded and imprisoned for decades who are released because DNA proved they did not do that which they were accused of doing. What DUE PROCESS is available to them?. Does DUE PROCESS have a "use by" date after which it is meaningless? Are you a fan of DUE PROCESS? Your definition of it or the definition of the gubment?
