If/when you feel slighted by someone do you back away or stay? Why?

Me too. I'm gonna confess something to you. I backed away purposely in my real life yesterday for a previous slight(imagined or otherwise) that was, in retrospect, very small as slights go. I saw someone and purposely avoided her. I had no idea I would do that. As I was engaged in avoiding her I was shocked at what I was doing! I had no idea that small slight would prompt me to do that. I dunno. Now I feel bad about it. Such is life. You do or you don't do and one way or anther you are going to feel bad. SIGH. Thank you for your reply.
