    No.  I've never chosen a career based solely or even primarily on the potential for remuneration.  There are careers I wish I would have chosen for other reasons--say, such as being a commercial pilot--but physical limitations (vision) got in the way.

    I wish I could have the choice of no career and lots of money anyway.  

    But, that is not ever going to happen so I make my own career.
