The crimes and corruptions of the wealthy are far more arrogant than the crimes of the poor. The wealthy believe they are above the rules. Rules only apply to "the little people". The Wealthy are never little people. Their appetites are ENORMOUS so of course they are always very big. Their crimes are very big. That's the advantage to being wealty when your core is corrupt. You can buy your way into anything you want anytime you want on whatever stage you want and if caught you are very likely to get away with it. How? BY BUYING YOUR WAY OUT OF THE MESS YOU CREATE! And so it goes. Time after time. Century after century. SIGH.
