    I heard a gal say that she and her husband usually get about $5K in tax refund and this year THEY OWE MONEY! Thank you for your reply E.

  • Ours was smaller.  I just hope those people who got more realize that's only temporary until the debt catches up to us.

    LOL being a left wing progressive liberal, my refund paid for my bill at H&R Block.


    But I have fake disability and the GUBMENT doesn't even require me to file.  I'll explain if you like.

    No need to explain. When Jim and I retired we went to our local Senior Citizen Center which had an on-site tax return preparer. We made an appointment, sat down and showed her our income and she said we didn't need to file because it was far below the threshold. You don't count social security. There is a limit of course to how much besides social security you can earn and then you are required to file. Since our retirement (me in April 1999 and Jim in December 2000) we have never needed to file a tax return because we have never come close to that limit. Thank you for your reply.
