    Sure.
They have the potential buying power of over 1.4 billion people.
India has the potential buying power of over 1.3 billion people.
America's population is about 25% of either of those.

China has access to far more resources.
And they are looking to expand into space, in search of even more resources.

The only thing really holding back China's economy, is their Communist government.
They are trying to modernize China's economy ... but still want to maintain their power.
Not easy to have an expanding middle-class and increased purchasing power, while still answering to a Communist government. This post was edited by Walt O'Reagun at April 10, 2019 9:32 AM MDT

I heard on NPR the other day, that China is aggressively marketing itself.
Especially in Africa.  They are giving money to schools to teach Mandarin language.
That's in addition to all the money they are loaning for infrastructure improvements.

They are already foreclosing on one port (can't recall where) - because that government can't pay back the infrastructure loans.

EDIT:  I forgot to mention ... China is also encouraging the schools to teach Chinese History.
They also make scholarships available to government officials, to go to China and learn how China governs.

The European Union sees the threat ... but can't agree on how to counter it.
Russia is trying to emulate China, but is having problems doing so.
The US State Department sees the threat ... but runs into the problem that too many Americans still think of China as lagging behind. This post was edited by Walt O'Reagun at April 10, 2019 9:55 AM MDT

He has no idea what is gong on, you guys.  OF COURSE NOT.  He is a clueless moron.  He cannot even read a page of the Muller report without screwing that up.  You think he has a clue about foreign policy?  Much less what their future plans for expansion are?  He wants to tariff them.  This simplistic moron has no clue what he is revealing about himself to the world and how it weakens us.  I think Japan could take over or even Italy.  That is how idiotic and clueless he actually is.  Maybe even Greece.

20/20 or we are TOAST as a nation.  We will never ever ever recover if this bum has another four years.  IMAGINE????
