  • revealing info the public should know anyway isn't really the same as someone breaking in and stealing my hard earned flat screen TV

Well you know by now I question everything god. I am questioning you. You say "revealing info the public should know anyway ..."? Seriously? And you think this is true no matter who does the hacking? Russia hacked into and meddled with our election. Are you telling that was OK with you? What about industrial ESPIONAGE? You good to go with that too? How about treason and being a traitor? You approve? If so you disappoint me greatly. So shoot me. Thank you for your reply. Boy you can't rely on anyone anymore for anything. Sheesh. What a fine mess you got us into OLLIE. This post was edited by RosieG at April 13, 2019 12:04 PM MDT

Sorry to intervene on your conversation Rosie, but don't you think that America or England do exactly the same thing to Russia, China ,Korea ,Iran or any other country.....
Dont you think America and England spy on each other ,evern though we are suppose to be allies....
If England invented a new super weapon ,do you think America would like it or tolerate it ....

There is no powerful government in this world that does not  spy on its neighbours ,wether they are friend or foe....Anerica hacks in to every nation security system as do the English......maybe most are unsuccessful ,but you will never ever know as no country will ever admit to doing it

Why is illegal for an individual to commit such crimes and yet when a country does it to its neighbour it is not....
Again ,might is right only if you have the biggest bomb or weapons.....  :(

hacker---a person who uses computers to gain unauthorized access to data.

thief---a person who steals another person's property, especially by stealth and without using force or violence.

Given these two definitions from the internet, I don't see any difference.

Both the same and both violate people's lives the only difference is that the burglar is more intrusive and a greater threat to those they rob when he's cornered and maybe desperate to escape.....in America ,he's more likely to be armed considering how easy it is to obtain weapons that fire bullets ..:(

You are more likely to be shot or knifed in America if a burglar breaks  into your  home Rosie.....
There is not the same feeling of another clever person hacking into your bank account to steal your money....
You can at least go home and lock your door and feel relatively safe...:(
