I am not impressed by an over-the-top show of extravagant wealth. I think it is very tacky. Ticky Tacky. Isn't Mar a Lago the perfect tacky?

Look up  TACKY in the dicitonary and what do you find? A photo of Mar a Lago. Now the Trump tower in New york may be very TACKY too vis a vis where the Dondonjohn lived. Gold-plated toilets?  Well of course he has to live that way. It's in is birth certificate. No way out. No exit. He is trapped in tacky.

    Did you ever see a mansion from a NOUVEAU RICHE person decorated in a manner that would make Archtectural Digest proud?

    NEVER.  It is always ornate and elaborate gold everything.  SO UGLY.  SO TACKY.  I'm sure the inside of Mar a Lago is just like that.  Just like Trump Tower and Trump's assinine quarters.

    Exactly Sharon. I must say you always come up with the perfect graphic to illustrate my question's point perfectly. How do you do it? Anyway thank you for your reply and the spot-on photo.
