Have you hired a maid or cleaning service recently? What did you have done and what was the cost?

A few years ago, we paid a lady $60/week to clean our 2,500 sq ft. house.  She washed and vacuumed the floors and cleaned the kitchen and bathrooms (3).  I did the dusting and laundry.  I would have preferred to do it all .. but had hurt my back and couldn't.  

Depending on what you want someone to do .. you could probably pay someone less.  Maybe a college student might be cheaper.

We have 1500 sq. ft. house and pay $90 to have someone dust, vacuum, clean bathrooms, mop floors, and clean the kitchen.

No do my own cleaning. After a fashion. 

I hired a company to clean our office. It's 205.00 per month and they do a horrible job. But, if I didn't have them, I'd have an even bigger dirt problem than I do now. Our contract is up in September and I'm considering changing companies but I am unsure as to who I will hire to replace them.
