Some people consistently miss the point of a question because they either do not understand that it is a metaphor for something else OR that it is taking something that is already absurd to a ridiculous extreme. Some folks catch on right away. Now what is it about the way the brain works that causes that vast divide? Any brain experts out there?
Ok if you say so. I beg to differ mum, some folks recognize easily and see things as they are. You want to call those folks Naïve and dumb, ok then, lol.
The answer is spiritual. But that doesn't matter, because when you say "spiritual", those same people substitute the word "religious", and then they say you said it's because some people go to the wrong church.
In ancient Greece, only slaves went to school, to learn how to be better slaves. Tradesmen sent their children to apprenticeships, and upper class children were educated at home by tutors. Three different classes of people, taught by three entirely different systems. This slave school system was adopted without change to educate the lower classes of India while the Brahmans continued to educate their children at home. Next it was adopted by the Prussian army to train soldiers. Later it became the public school system in USA and Great Britain. In the USA all pretext of teaching anything useful was dropped in favor of simply exercising the board's authority over the little lumps, running them through the system with minimum fuss. And that is why every generation in the 20th century seemed to be a little stupider than the generation that raised them.
So you are asking "What's the spiritual part?" Well, the current education system has been 2500 years in the making. We only know two entities with that kind of attention span. And you, each of you,individually, get to choose which one to follow, if you have enough smarts to notice that one, the God of creation, wants a better life for you, and the other, the god of earthly authority, just wants you to shut up and do what you are told.
