I actually don't drink. When I did, I didn't like wine. But I always preferred to drink anything straight from the original container. It tastes better.
I’ve always drank coolers and such straight from the bottle. I remember way back when I first met my husbands ( at the time) family , a large group extended and immediate. I ordered a cooler and the waitress asked if I wanted a glass and I said no. His mom asked ‘ you’re just gonna drink from the bottle‘ and my ‘ future husband‘ said ‘ yeah she drinks from the bottle, she’s practically a dude, I’m surprised she doesn’t pee standing up’. I almost died lol.
His family is kind of snobby, i love them and still see them all the time. But they thought it not lady like to drink from a bottle lol. I grew on them though :)
Yes if drinking straight (not a mixed drink) the I wanted it in the bottle. But that only works at home if out you order a drink and they pour it in a glass. So I would order Jack and Coke. If I was out, I did not plan to get plastered so could nurse a few J&C for the night.
I’ve never liked stemmed wine glasses myself. I’ve always thought of wine as the least fattening alcohol :) I read somewhere years ago, that one glass of vodka and orange ( what I used to drink) was the equivalent of eating a ham and cheese sandwich...blah!
Well, I tried a beer glass but, it just seemed so redneck. I didn't want to really live up to what I always believed myself to be! Oh, yeah, wine is really a fluff starter for your bod. I quit alcohol for the same reason. But, to be fair, I was drinking 'dessert wine' like Kikkoman Plum or a Riesling.
