    No, you're confused.  It was New Year's Day a few seconds ago.  Christmas was nearly a full minute ago.

    Then we have Spunky wishing everyone Happy Easter when she is Jewish.  What is wrong with Happy Passover?  And for that matter what about the WICCAN Holiday?  Much older than both holidays.

    I love the fact that the Jews and Christians ripped off the Star of the Old Religion.

    We don’t have a holiday that is the equivalent of Easter. We do have a Sabbat on the day of the Spring Equinox, though, called Ostara by Wiccans. The Sabbats based on celestial events such as Fall Equinox, Winter Solstice, Spring Equinox, Summer Solstice are fairly modern, unlike the Greater Sabbats (agricultural festivals) which do date back to antiquity.
