Has anyone tried blowing cold air into a cyclone or tonado to 'defuse' it ?

Theoretically that should be enough. Run whatever air you have through a cooler and pump it in. the cold air try to sink lessening or ideally stopping the chimney effect of the cyclone.

Interesting idea, but although it may work if you can supply enough cold air to disrupt the cyclone, the problem would be the "enough".

Weather systems are immensely powerful so to affect them at all by machine, you'd need vastly more powerful machines than are available - plus the means to move them to keep pace with the weather's track across country.

  • God hates (insert the people you hate) too much to let that happen.
