My take on it is the exact opposite of yours Sharon. I avoid babblers. The folks with whom I engage and whom I enjoy are not timewasters or insulters or attackers. They are intelligent, knowledgeable and capable of having a conversation that enlightens me. They are teachers and co-workers and neighbors and acquaintance and pals and buddies and friends. If it were just a bunch of people who are babbling I would not be here. Thank you for your reply.

You know VERY WELL what I mean Shuhak. We've chatted long enough for you to know that I don't spend time with folks who aren't  smart, wise and kind. I am now and have always been drawn to highly intelligent people from whom I can learn because I am a perennial student. I cannot imagine a day when I would not be excited to learn about something I didn't know. Or get a different take on something that caused me to think more deeply about an issue. That "old guy" who keeps blocking your view is my friend. I know when I see that moniker I am in for at the very least a good conversation and at the very most more knowledge to nourish me. You and quite a few other Answermug members make my days very positive. I'm basically a shy introvert..a loner. This is my main and most looked-forward-to socializing. Some folks are like me and enjoy the same kinds of benefits from being here. Others just show up to attack or insult or argue. I always feel safe with my pals here. That's why I simply avoid those who aren't. Why get upset or hurt when you can avoid both?  Thank you for your reply and well just thanks in general! :)
