Ex: EpiPen:
Cons: Too much regulation makes them have to raise the price or some regulation stops other companies making generics or some regulation prevents doctors from choosing other alternatives. The companies just "can't help themselves" because the government makes them act bad and they would normally act better.
Libs: Government doesn't regulate the corporations enough and the corporations run rampant over the consumer putting profits before people. There's no true socialized health care and companies are making money off of sick people. Sick people need financial help to counteract the profiteering health care corporations.
Poor government scapegoat.
:(
Sometimes either side can be right. I think for these things the government is doing too much to protect these companies from having to face competition. I also heard that there are rules so that when that company makes a generic version of their own product, people will still have to retrain to be qualified to use the exact same device as before because the label is different.
