Some folks have INSATIABLE appetites for sex/money/fame/power/adulation. They never have enough. They want YOUR SHARE. Aren't they cute?

But what would make me think that somehow I would naturally have a "share" of any of those ?  Like somehow I could claim them by right? While it is possible I might become powerful and receive adulation just being myself is more likely I would have to strive for those, to work for them.  To deserve them.  Some people never have any of those because they don't care to work for them.  If those things are what they want.  I think more accurately perhaps those things, as well as others, make us feel good about ourselves and that we mean something to others.  Which is - can we really ever get enough of feeling that our lives are worthwhile and we matter to others?
