In the beginning all savages were alike. Well except that some were stronger and smarter than others but they were all HAVE NOTS. Now?

We have the HAVES who have so much it is mindboggling. They are the ones who will never have enough and always take more.

We have the HAVE NOTS who when they are fortunate enough to get what they need they feel blessed and appreciative and grateful. They do not want to take what others have. They are satisfied. Are you one of the lucky ones who have enough and do not want to take away what others have?

My father used to say we only have as much as we are able to appreciate.

Might makes right.  The strong take from the weak.
Money equals power.  The powerful take from the poor.

I strive to be content with what that which I have been blessed, and not covet what others have been given.

Covet. Interesting choice of words Shuhak. Not liking how greedy some are and wishing they weren't is not the same thing as COVETING what they have. Do you like the way life ain't fair? Does it require COVETING to not like it? Of course not! Sheesh. Thank you for your reply. I have NEVER experienced envy or jealousy. I have never once wanted what others have for myself. I am content with what I have. I am NOT CONTENT with those who are starving to death while others push so much food in their mouths they are OBESE and still hunger for MORE. Are you? Evening out things would be my preference. NOT FOR ME because I WANT NOT for naught. For others WHO NEED but don't HAVE  because of the greedy and evil corruption in the world.  Oh well. Whatever. How can you ever fix a problem if you don't address it?
