It wouldn't affect me, personally.
I maybe use mine about 10 minutes a week, for texting.

Lots of small businesses would be hurt, as they wouldn't be able to accept credit cards.

Would not bother me - never had one. 

I would be entertained by such an event.  All it would take is enough electromagnetic interference from what I've read. Many people believe that this force is used for weather manipulation.  That is so far out to me that I don't even read about it.   This is not my thing....science.  You have probably read more than I have.  But I read that future warfare will be this kind of thing.
