Discussion»Statements»Rosie's Corner» Allegedly Robert Mueller wants to testify IN PRIVATE. Doesn't the public have a right to know? Doesn't gubment work FOR we the people?
I'm thinking he may be wanting it in private, so he can disclose things that can't be revealed to the public ... like stuff that affects active investigations.
Oh. Of course. I can understand that Walt. Why couldn't he testify in public disclosing what is not classified and then separately hold a closed-to-the-public session? I'm pretty sure they've done that before. Wouldn't you like to hear him speak to whatever he could? I know I sure would! Thank you for your reply! :
He may also want it in private, so he is not "on the record" speaking against or contradicting his bosses in public. And we know those type of questions are going to be asked of him. It doesn't matter how good you are at your job, and/or how bad your bosses are at their job. That's never a good career move.
When your "boss" is a toady sycophant suckup mini-sb prez I think contradicting his lies would be essential to your code of honor integrity and anything less than that would be awful. What would YOU choose to do Walt in that circumstance? Knuckle under to the chickenmanbillybarrROYCOHN snake for fear of being reprimanded or speak up speak out speak truth and dam* the consequences? What price honor? I dunno. I couldn't stand it personally but then I never would have last ed a minit with all those creeps and liars and poison thingies that live in the scum of Washington D.C. politics. Thank you for your reply! :)
When someone has the power to sic the FBI, DEA, IRS, and every other alphabet-agency on not just you but your family and friends ... it's not a matter of honor/integrity, as much a matter of self-defense and survival. It doesn't matter if you've led a "perfect" life, they will find SOME law that you violated. (especially the IRS)
They'd better take what they can get from him, any way they can get it. Of course, things have changed since Mueller's report was released. He's no longer the fair haired boy whose report was going to set the world on fire and topple the government. Why does the public have a need to know about such a closed door hearing, when the Democrats themselves won't read the epic 25 million dollar, two year in the making report. No, "we the people" DO NOT have a right to every military, governmental or investigative agency's work.
