Move the STATUE OF LIBERTY to the Pacific Ocean off the coast of California. Why you ask?

"Migrant crisis at border spreads."

In the past two weeks more than 400 people mostly from Guatemala have been dropped off in a Parking Lot in San Bernardino (southern California) where civil rights advocates take them to  a local Catholic church where they can get a hot shower, some food and a bed for a night or two.

In neighboring RIVERSIDE COUNTY (where I live),  more than 4000 people seeking ASYLUM have been dropped off by border agents since last fall helped by local volunteers and sent to families around the country.

So America need no longer sweat it. California is the new destination for the weary the poor the unwanted the despised. The rest of you are off the hook. Good riddance right? Good riddance!

Make sure none of y'all come here at all. Not that you'd want to since we know we are anathema to you. We don't mind. We take pleasure in your absence. You wouldn't want to have to see them or for god's sake be in the same restaurant or hotel or motel or church with them or drive down the street and see any of them. It would offend your sensibilities sensitivities. Stay away. Stay right where you are. In your comfy superself-righteous neighborhoods. We'll handle it while you turn your backs on them.  Don't worry your pretty little heads about it any longer. Not your problem.

I do believe your financial capabilities are going to be strained with the influx of these asylum seekers.  As you know New York is a sanctuary city, so we will probably be seeing them here, too, although we already have illegals here.  I don't know what the answer to this problem is, Rosie, but I do believe it is a humanitarian crisis.

It is my friend and we have the worst possible problem-solver in the entire universe in the form of the pudgy sb prez. Bad luck for all involved. Thank you for your reply L. The sb prez takes pride is his New Yorkness. Sanctuary city or not he will have none of it! We are at the mercy of a merciless homo sop. I like that. I'm gonna ask. :(

I watch Face the Nation on Sundays and the format is to interview one-on-one various politicians and the second half of the show is the panel discussion.  Last week, Kevin K. McAleenan, Commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection, was interviewed.  Not only is he very articulate, he seems to tell it like it is when it comes to what's happening on the border.  He is measured in his tone, doesn't get all excited, doesn't look to stick it to any particular party, but he did say that Congress has failed to appropriate funds to take care of the influx of people.  He did admit that they are living in terrible conditions and that they are trying to set up tent cities to alleviate the overcrowding.  He is a voice of reason.  Even he has said that the sheer numbers of people has made it almost impossible to deal with their asylum applications quickly.

Just imagine if all the funds wasted on the sb prez trips to Mar A Lago or his golf resorts or paid to the corrupt inept appointees in his cabinet could have been used to handle the immigration crisis? Do you think the sb prez would give up one trip or one round of golf for that purpose? He is a self-absorbed SOB who spends our tax money like a drunken sailor and his peeps encourage him to live a lavish lifestyle ON THEIR BACKS. They are all nutty wackadoodles. If there were anyone anywhere in gubment with power and authority and common sense and a sense of decency it would never have to this. But what you have surrounding the sb prez are echo chamblers that dare not ad lib. So as long as he stays the problems will be exacerbated. How much will all the investigations into investigators cost us? Does anyone give a rat's a**? Of course not. The peeps who adore him are for him no matter how much of their tax money he wastes on graft and self-serving pleasuring. So what do we do? Wait and see. What else? Thank you for your reply L! I haven't heard the person to whom you refer but if he was appointed by the sb prez I don't trust him at all for any reason. The sb prez would NEVER appoint anyone who isn't a sure thing...a toady sycophant who is terrified of him and will do his bidding without ad libbing. Thank you for your reply L!  :)

I read somewhere that each trip to Mar-A-Lago costs the taxpayers $103 million.  Unconscionable but no one is willing to put the brakes on his spending.

Your feeling about any Trump appointee is understandable, but if you can watch the first part of Sunday's Face the Nation, you may see a more reasonable person than you think.

Because YOU look kindly upon him L I will Google Face the Nation and maybe be able to get the gist of the interview. Here's the thing though. How long can a person like that last with a person like the sb  prez in charge? I guess we shall see. Thanks sweetie! Here I go to Google! :)

You shouldn't take my word - you should check it out yourself and see.  I like his tone - easy without being smarmy or combative like too many others.  I don't think anyone with ethics could last long.  Either they have enough of his temper and ignorance or they get fired.
