At the end of their lives are folks MOST PROUD of the times they spoke up and made waves or the times they kept silent and didn't?

I am not at the end of my life and hopefully not close to it.  I certainly get no enjoyment from speaking out of making waves.  Which I do sometimes only because I think it important that people hear another point of view to make balance.  But I know I will never change anyone's mind.  Because people don't have much respect for me.  So what makes me most proud now is just being able to be myself.
