"Deal of the century" per the sb prez. Jared's peace plan for the middle east. But it's on hold. Wanna know why?

Israel is gonna have repeat elections and it isn't clear whether Net will win or lose and even if he wins it isn't clear that the new gubment coalition will approve of the Jewish American wonder boy's solution. Stay tuned. Watch this space. The new elections will be in September. Depending upon how they go the rollout for Jared may occur after. Palestinians say the Jared peace plan can "go to he**". Of course the peace plan heavily favors Israel. We all know that. What else is new? Sheesh. Will the golden boy ever get his day in the sun? Will the peace plan explode implode or be the cause of folks who see it laughing themselves to death? Tune in tomorrow to see how the world turns. And the day after that. And the day after that. Etcetera and so forth.

Sometimes I wonder what would have happened if Israel had turned The Sinai over to the "Palestinians", rather than return it to Egypt.

If the US backed the Palestinians all this time I wonder what would have happened Walt? What do YOU think is fair? If it were in your power to settle this decades long "conflict" how would you resolve it? I think the Palestinians are getting shafted. Somewhere there must be a way for parity to come into play. What is fair? Thank you for your reply!  :)

I don't know if there was a "Palestinian Issue" before the 1948 Arab-Israeli War.
Since Israel won the war ... as the defending country, remember ... they are entitled to keep all the lands they gained from the aggressors.

I have read that some of the Palestinians came from those aggressor countries, with the promise of free land once the Arab Nations won the war.  If that is true, those people need to go back where they came from.

People who already lived in the area should be treated as legitimate owners of the land.
However, that doesn't mean they get their own country - because see my first paragraph.
So they need to have equal citizenship rights in Israel.

How far back should we go to conclude who should be there and who shouldn't Walt?  Net is a greedy sob and will take what he wants by any means necessary and be supported by a lotta people. Is he right or wrong? They don't give a rat's a **. They are PRO ISRAEL all the way no matter what no matter right or wrong. Do I know what the proper good solid legal fair just solution would be? I do not. But there are very smart knowledgeable just fair people who probably do and they are NOT partisan pols whose beliefs are based on some biblical connection to Jews being given their homeland so Jesus will return to earth and rapture everyone. Thank you for your reply Walt! This post was edited by RosieG at June 3, 2019 8:25 AM MDT

I think the answer is simple ... we go back to the creation of the nation of Israel, by the United Nations.
I don't believe anything in that document stripped those living there of their property.
