I don't remember ever seeing either of those animals IRL, but I have seen kiwis. They have kiwi ranches in Phoenix, AZ. I have no idea how kiwis ever came to the city.

Correction: There are in fact ostrich farms in and around Phoenix. The birds I saw were about half the size of an ostrich, and kiwis are much smaller than that, so I don't now what I saw there.

Some immigrant from New Zealand must have brought a couple of kiwis to Phoenix a long time ago and started breeding them there. That's the most logical explanation. Lol:)

Hmmm. A Wednesday. Not the sort of thing I would expect to happen on a Wednesday. Lol:)

Well done, Bugler. You've used the word "occulator". Now whenever I Google search for that word it will lead me to this discussion on this site. It doesn't seem to exist anywhere else on the 'net. Lol:)

I've never thought about having children myself but a lot of my friends are starting now. The current baby boom in my social circle is apparently the result of certain names (conventional names, not silly ones) being banned in certain countries for ridiculous reasons and my friends rebelling against that by using those very names for their babies just to stick two fingers up at the stupid idiots who bring new laws into play when it is absolutely unnecessary. That's the way to do it. Lol:)

I recently seen both those animals at the local zoo. But I don't mistake one for the other.
