Not gambling at casinos.   I've never gambled, but maybe that would wipe me out for good.  That would change everything.

  • Stop avoiding something I need to get done for work, and get it done.

What a great idea, to not do something that we've never done before but that we know would be detrimental to us. An interesting outlook, I might use that!

"Today I'm going to not pimp myself out because it would be bad for my soul"

This is a good one. I could definitely apply that one too. Good luck! :)

Sadly, my life is far too screwed up for a small change to cover it!

You can make lots of small changes! I was asking about the first one thing! :)

Seriously though, sorry to hear that life is that way for you. I don't think you are alone. In fact, you are most certainly not.

  • Stop being negative, it's amazing how much that drags you down.  For the most part I've done that now.  :-)

Next, eat better and get out walking a few times/week.

Jesus said Love God and keep his commandments. This is the whole duty of man. Then God will bless us.

For the last 3 or 4 months I have been eating better, and doing more exercise, and feel so much better. Definitely worthwhile changes to make. Negative, well, yes, maybe you can have a little bit, I think it's good for the soul every now and again, lol, but definitely good to be aware of when it's too much. In fact, the eating and exercise part helps a lot with that too.

As long as you are happy, I guess no changes then if you are following the commandments to a T?

(just a note, when you say "us", it looks a bit like you're including me in that. I'd appreciate if you didn't do that, you don't know that it won't offend me. I don't mean to offend. Thank you).

God's promises are for all people who love him, that is what I meant. Not because anything I have done, but because what Jesus has done for me. I can't really ask for anything more except I could eat less desserts and exercise every morning, and save more.
