Pointless talking if no one is interested in what your saying Rosie..... Far better to chat about things you all like... Just keep away from subjects such as Sports ,Politics and more Religon .... :(
Sports? I disagree sweetie. For example did you know a 23-year-old Aussie named Ashleigh Barty just won the French Open Women's match on Saturday? Last time an Aussie did that was in the 1970's! Awesome. Also did you know that a young man named Dominic Theim beat Novak Djokovich (world number one tennis player) in the semi-finals Saturday and that Dominic and Rafael Nadal will play in the finals today? It will be one heckuva match to watch. Did you know that Rafael Nadal is a Clay Court Specialist and has won The French Open 11 times in the past? Then moving on to golf did you know tht Tiger Woods, after a few years of abysmally bad play, won at Augusta several months ago and got his 5th green jacket? That comeback was astonishing. Then we have baseball, basketball, football, soccer. Stay away from sports? Gosh no. But politics and religion? Some stay far away from it. Not moi. I figger if it occurs to me I ask it. If folks don't like it they can just ignore me. I welcome being ignored in such instances. I get to say what I want and they get to ignore. Everybody wins! How can you beat that? Thank you for your reply D and Happy Sunday to thee! :) Guess you aren't a sports fan are ya? Wimbledon begins July 1. We can hardly wait! :) ((hugs))
I think it's disgusting how much money these people make from throwing ,kicking ,throwing a silly ball about while full grown adults scream and shout in adulation at how clever and wonderful these people are..... They are all kids games and ideal for exersise and developing social skills ,but nothing else and in no way should they be treated like gods..... Profesinal football players did a ful week work and Saturday afternoon they went to play their game.... They did it because they enjoyed it and no vast sums of money were involved.... In my teens and early twenties I use to go to clubs in the city and quite well known exclusive ones that many famous football players frequented..... I was pestered by them often ,but just hearing them speak made me cringe....They thought money and notoriety could get them anyone....and so many silly girls swooned around them... Many were crude and discussing when told to go away politely....
How may girls did Tiger Woods play Humpty Bumpy with before his wife found him out.... I don't idolizes people that have no brains Rosie.....Same goes for famous actors ....they provide for entertainment....why do they then assume that they are so important ... Money and wealth doesn't maketh the man or women...being nice and polite and educated socially does...
I am shocked at this reply D. All filled with negativity! All that is here is hostility. Okay. Different strokes. I won't bore you with anything else about sports. You don't have a son who was a baseball standout or followed professional basketball avidly as a teen. If you did you would feel differently or you'd be a lousy mom. I'm just saying. I take joy in many things you seem to revile. Oh well. That's life. Than you for your reply.

Sports are just kids games Rosie ....game means something you enjoy doing for fun or recreation ... a great way to get excersise for kids ,but why the desperate need to win ....
Why is there so much violence and hatred for the other teams....in England not that many years ago so many so called fans went to games to fight.... They took Stanley knives ,bats and bottles and would cut and batter any one from opposing teams young or old that they could find....if there team lost ,then God help any one they bumped into in local pubs or just walking down the road.... Its much bettter now, but there are still so many that are that fanatic le still... If I have any kids...I would and watch them play...but would never ever encourage them to be a professional player.. Its a waste of a person life to have just thrown or kicked a ball about....
Precisely. You test the waters and if you get no bites you move on to seek a place where the fishing might be better! Thank you for your reply Shuhak and Happy Sunday! :)
