WHAT IF all the money America spends on keeping people out were spent on honoring the words engraved on The Statue of Liberty? WHAT THEN?

We've tabled immigration, we have an unmanageable influx of people who have taken us up on our willingness to ignore the law, common sense, and create mass confusion with unbelievable chaos. What if we spent money to defend and protect those who have to deal with the consequences of erasing the borders and pay the tab for all of this idiocy? You seem to believe that immigration has never been a part of this country. Once it was a legal and regulated process that resulted in naturalization and assimilation. Now it's just a mockery for anyone to pursue citizenship when all you need to do is walk across the border. As long as we're discarding laws, I'd really love to see an end to income taxes and maybe a few other longstanding impediments, like regulated traffic, speed limits etc.
