Some think a parent's job is to PROTECT the child. Others believe the parent's job is to be an ENFORCER. What do YOU believe? Why?

I think both and I think that because a parent has to reflect just about any type of image that the child will confront.  Therefore, a parent has to be both judge and jury for a child in many instances.  But it has to be with care and consideration and not one drop of ego involved.  The child is your ward.  The little person cannot do much without your guidance.  If you don't have a good heart, good mind and lots of wi9sdom, you are not going to do a bang up job of parenting.  

Just ask the millions of screwed-up kids on the planet if you think this is erroneous.
