A MILLENNIUM is a period of ONE THOUSAND YEARS. A Millennial pertains to Millennium. Why are they branded MILLENIALS? 23-38 years old?

Does it make any sense to anyone? A name is coined by someone for whatever reason and like lemmings people copycat and make it "official". Sheesh!

WHY?

They grew up in the new millennium. With no experience of no internet or cell phones etc.

My son born in 2000 was aggregated when I told him he was not a millennial. He said I was born in 2000...I should be the exact definition of a. millennial. I just laughed and told him he was Gen Z.  This post was edited by my2cents at June 17, 2019 8:11 AM MDT

OH! Okey dokey m2c! In other words they are totally IGNORANT about life before they were born. Ignorant they shall remain forever more. That life is of no concern or interest to them. Well unless any of them like history and reality that predates them. Thank you for the info. So life started for them after and for the rest of us it started before. Some of us speak their language but none of them speak ours.  Happy Father's Day Sunday to you and your family! :)
