Elephant Aid Interntional just sent me this contact link (at bottom) for Wildlife SOS India. Let me know what they say.
Here is the link for the original story.https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7147157/Wildlife-photographer-47-says-saw-elephants-screaming-agony-wildlife-reserve-India.html
All I have are allegations, what we need is proof: Visual and Audio.
The allegations are beatings and elephants being stabbed with knives in their backside to the point they cry out.
I contacted the Elephant Aid International and asked them who to contact. I'll let you know when I get a response.

The Indian Government could step in to save them if motivated. It has done so in the past when tourists have complained and shone an international torch on the situation. Andrew McClean is an internationally renowned animal behaviourist who lives just outside Melbourne in Australia. It was invited by the Indian Government to resolve a problem of cruelty to elephants in Northern India. It involved teaching the mahouts better ways to train and guide their animals without the use of cruelty. It worked so well that it became a major tourist attraction and a very profitable business. Reports to the World Wildlife Fund can also help since, apart from mounting rescue operations (limited by funds), they do a good job of drawing international attention to the plights of species in particular places.
I contacted the human elephant learning programs that was linked to Mccleans page. I sent them the information. Now I find there is a tiger that is chained up in a short chain for 22 hours a day for a tourist attraction.
