I'm single, so no I haven't asked my wife since I don't have.  But if you're asking if I have worn one, then yes all the time.  I'm actually going to put one or two on here pretty shortly.  Because I like wearing them and think others should at least try wearing them too.

Even if they didn't cause skin cancer, I think I'd find them uncomfortable and extremely sweaty, since the material doesn't breathe at all.

It doesn't cause skin cancer.  Yes it's sweaty, but not as bad as you think and they're more comfortable than you think.  I wear them a few times a week with no issues.
