What are the elements that constitute a Third World Country. What makes a country a Third World Country? (I know I just said that)

  • Originally the "third world" referred to countries that were not allied with the U.S. or the Soviet Union. They consisted mainly of developing countries.

    Today the term is used colloquially to refer to a country with low development.
